Field Study Centre Derrygonnelly

The FSC offers leisure and professional training courses covering virtually every aspect of learning about the countryside, its wildlife and the environment. The Centre is run in partnership with Derrygonnelly and District Community Enterprises. The River Sillees runs through the Centre grounds.

Derrygonnelly Centre lies in the unspoilt West Fermanagh countryside, 10 miles from Enniskillen and only 15 miles from the Donegal coast. The FSC is committed to career development and professional training in the environment and is one of the UK's leading providers of taxonomic training. Each year we offer a wide range of courses, many of which are accredited and certified by awarding bodies, to help individuals develop their skills.

An excellent variety of habitats are within easy reach of the centre including rocky shores, freshwater, sand dunes, rivers, bog and heathland as well as carboniferous limestone, shale, intrusive igneous rocks and glacial deposits.
